The Rec' (also known as The Recreation Bowl) has been a pillar of Mt. Clemens since the early 1920's. One of the oldest establishments and the only bowling alley in Mt. Clemens The Rec's excellent food, friendly service and relaxing atmosphere make it the perfect meeting place for individuals and a variety of groups of all ages. Family owned and operated for more than 60 years, Fred & Patti have been committed to providing their patrons with a memorable Rec' experience. The Rec' is much more than a bowling alley! Besides the 8 bowling lanes and main bar, The Rec' provides several options for your dining pleasures and socializing needs. The Rec' provides LIVE entertainment every weekend, featuring Classic Rock sounds from local bands. Planning a Party!! The Rec' offers a FREE party room for larger groups and private parties..just call ahead to reserve the Rec' Room (available year round), the FreddiO (seasonal) or the PatiO (seasonal).
The Rec' Room is separated from the main bar and bowling alley in such a way that it is still viewable, yet isn't a distraction from those who have come to enjoy a meal or party. The Rec' Room is available year round. This room meets a variety of needs, including its' own cozy bar with personal service, Michigan Lottery, in addition to LCD tv's to watch the big game or winning KENO numbers.
The FrediO is perfect for outdoor dining, smaller groups and intimate parties (weather permitting). Located towards the rear of the building, the FrediO is set up with several small tables, a tv and waitress service.
The PatiO is the largest outdoor patio in Mt. Clemens, with is open May through October. The PatiO offers full waitress service every day of the week, a complete bar, Michigan Lottery, several televisions, and LIVE entertainment. It is the perfect place for your class reunion!
